For a company with drive in racking, it was necessary to convert the forklift truck so that it could drive into the racking provided.
The necessary cut-out was made in the cab frame of a Linde E 14. Appropriate reinforcements were welded in to restore the strength of the forklift cab. In addition, an adapted windshield with frame was manufactured and fitted. Various modifications to the cabling, cladding and headlights rounded off the conversion.
It is now possible to reach the pallets at the back of the rack, as the entire forklift can be driven into the rack.
