The SCHURZ stationary lifting, turning and clamping unit type 3000 is used to load a feed hopper by emptying transport boxes, crates, containers, steel drums and big bags.
The load is transferred to the stationary device using a forklift. The loads are emptied by turning or lifting. Transport boxes, crates and containers are picked up by a second pair of fork entry shoes on the stationary unit, the drums are clamped and the big bags are transferred via a specially designed pick-up. A second pick-up height is available for big bags with a height of 2,000 mm.
This avoided the need for a special mast or hall conversion. The stationary machine was mounted on a customer-supplied hydraulic longitudinal shift with a travel of approx. 1,150 mm. Rotation range 360° with electric stop on both sides. The scope of delivery included a hydraulic unit with valves for all functions (including longitudinal movement), ready for integration into the PLC control system.
