Our customer’s production environment requires the regular changing of punching tools and machine beds, which takes place up to three times per shift. The tools and beds, which can weigh up to 1,500 kg, must be handled precisely and safely, ideally by just one employee.
The Fa. ING. M. SCHURZ developed the SCHURZ punching tool changing trolley in combination with a transfer station for safe and efficient handling of the tools.
A Linde L 20 pedestrian pallet truck with an exclusively manufactured attachment serves as the basic vehicle. A hydraulic roller table makes it easier to pick up and drop off the tools, while a slide-out magnetic bar enables safe transfer from the transfer station to the punching machine.
A specially designed, integrated safety system ensures a smooth and accident-free changing process – fully operable by just one user.
