Our customer, which is active in the research, development and production of innovative technologies in the automotive market, would like to make the work processes for picking transmission parts in the company more efficient.
The requirement is to be able to pick goods weighing up to 1,200 kg on one side, while the finished goods can be collected by forklift on the other side. The SCHURZ turntable with a load capacity of 2,400 kg can be operated (rotated) by one person with little effort. A special heavy-duty pivot bearing guarantees this even when only one side is fully loaded.
The SCHURZ rotating picking table is designed as a stationary unit, is bolted to the customer’s floor and is unlocked using a foot pedal, allowing it to be rotated through 180°. The 180° positions are locked automatically.
