This mechanically adjustable SCHURZ long goods spreader beam was manufactured for our Swiss customer in the desired design for a Jungheinrich reach truck type ETV Q25 with a basic load capacity of 2,500 kg at LSP 600 mm.
Long goods lifting beams are generally used for loads with excess length. These may be pipes, profiles, wooden parts, etc. that cannot be safely picked up with the usual fork spacing, as this could damage the load or cause accidents at the workplace.
In this particular case, it is a mechanically adjustable SCHURZ long goods spreader beam, which is picked up and additionally secured via the carrier plate of the forklift. The forks remain on the truck so that the load is now evenly distributed over 4 forks. The outer forks of the SCHURZ long load spreader beam can be manually adjusted in 100 mm steps in the range from 3,000 mm to 4,500 mm by means of a folding pin and locking pin, in order to optimally maneuver loads of different lengths.
This SCHURZ lifting beam also has foldable support legs to allow the beam to be parked safely. While the lifting beam is in use, these support legs can be removed or brought into a parking position directly on the lifting beam.
On customer request, we can of course also manufacture our lifting beams with hydraulic fork adjustment, 6-way forks, level compensation or telescopic push forks.
