The SCHURZ lifting beam is picked up via the forks of the Linde H 160/1200 forklift truck and automatically secured on both sides to prevent slipping. Four permanently bolted base chains with hooks are attached to the lifting beam. Two different lengths of lifting chains with hooks can be attached to these base chains as required.
The load consists of trolleys with a maximum weight of 12,000 kg and 3,200 mm x 2,800 mm (length x width). The load is driven over lengthways and hooked onto the pick-up chains using the four hooks. In this position, the load is lifted and can be transported safely. When not in use, the chains can be safely transported in the open boxes mounted above the fork runners. Four fixed support feet protect the base support chains in the attachment area when the lifting beam is parked. In addition, the lifting beam is mechanically secured by means of through bolts.
