This hand-guided SCHURZ load manipulator is used to place vendor parts for automotive engine production in tempering furnaces. The small parts are placed in special trays, which in turn have to be picked up using special forks.
The shape of the forks of the high-lift truck is adapted to the shape of the transport tubs and makes it easier for the employee to pick them up. In order to keep costs low, a hand-guided and manually operated device was required. To prevent any contact or collision between the transport trays and the inner wall of the tempering furnace, replaceable slide rails are fitted to the outside of the wheel arms. These center the manual stacker via guide rails when the forks are moved into the furnace.
