The SCHURZ pedestrian stacker unloader was customized for our customer, a well-known Austrian screw manufacturer.
The basic machine is a Toyota pedestrian stacker with a basic load capacity of 1,200 kg at LSP 600 mm, which has been specially adapted for use with the emptying device.
The customer has to turn or tilt various materials and screws from wire mesh boxes or pallets with stacking frames by 180° to the front and gently empty them onto sorting tables. The problem is that boxes or crates weighing up to 600 kg and of different heights are used for this.
For this individual requirement, the company ING. M. SCHURZ is the right contact. The SCHURZ universal emptying device has been equipped with 4 height-adjustable holding lugs. It is now possible to adjust the device so that all boxes or crates present in the plant can be optimally and securely clamped by the emptying device. To do this, the retaining lugs of the SCHURZ tipping device are first manually adjusted to the height of the box to be picked up and secured with bolts. Then the box only needs to be approached in the correct position with the SCHURZ pedestrian stacker emptying device and the box can be picked up and emptied hydraulically using the clamping arms.
In order to adapt the basic device, which is actually used for pallet manipulation, to the SCHURZ pedestrian stacker universal emptying device, the forks were separated and the SCHURZ 180° tilting device was installed. Furthermore, a separate power unit was added in order to be able to operate additional hydraulic functions. Hydraulic control valves were also fitted to achieve infinitely variable adjustment of the functions.
