The SCHURZ box emptying device, including adaptation of the pedestrian stacker, was adapted for our customer – a production company for sanitary products – in the desired design. The basic truck is a Jungheinrich ERC 214 with a basic load capacity of 1400 kg at LSP 600 mm.
The customer required a device for emptying boxes made of different materials in the basic shape of a Euro pallet. The 250 kg boxes have to be emptied sideways into a hopper with a top edge of 2,500 mm.
As a solution, we developed a tipping and emptying device that was permanently installed on the pedestrian stacker. The device consists of a reinforced pin with a robust, greasable plain bearing and a tipping cylinder. In addition, a hydraulic, removable load holder is integrated to secure the boxes.
An adjustable side support arm is used to support the boxes from the side.
