The hydraulic SCHURZ mobile tipping platforms were manufactured for a customer in the metal industry. A Linde T 20 low lift truck with a basic load capacity of 2,000 kg at LSP 600 mm serves as the basic vehicle.
The loads are metal boxes filled with metal parts.
These boxes can now be driven under with the converted pallet truck, lifted up and emptied hydraulically by tilting them forward by 90°. Special brackets secure the metal box on the emptying device.
Furthermore, Linde tiller trucks are equipped with special protective shields made of a special plastic that shields the operator from hot metal parts.
The emptying function of the SCHURZ tipper is performed by a double-acting hydraulic cylinder. The original hydraulic unit was removed and fitted with a larger, specially manufactured tank. Additional electric valves, shut-off valves etc. enable operation and control directly from the base vehicle. All components were mounted on the side of the chassis as there was not enough space in the vehicle. This means that in addition to the usual lifting/lowering functions of the low-lift truck, the tipping function can also be controlled from the base unit.
