As part of this project, a Still RX20-16 forklift truck with a drive-in cab was fitted with a customized SCHURZ comfort cab retrofitted. The aim was to offer the driver optimum protection and comfort in a working environment exposed to the weather – without compromising the flexibility of the vehicle in daily use.
The cab retrofit includes a fully enclosed solution with rear and side windows, a door with a viewing window, gas pressure dampers and an electric heater for cold operating conditions. The design is CE-compliant and precisely adapted to the truck. The design guarantees harmonious integration into the existing vehicle architecture.
