The SCHURZ electric heavy-duty platform truck was built to transport heavy tool shapes independently of a crane. The vehicle was developed as a three-wheel concept for uneven floors. There are two load wheel units at the front and only one large central drive wheel at the rear. The three-point concept ensures that the drive wheel is always in contact. A special load wheel unit with 16 individual wheels was used to reduce the wheel pressure. In order to provide sufficient power, the drive and electrics were implemented with a 48V system.
