The SCHURZ special battery changing fork type 2800 with a load capacity of 2,800 mm at LSP 645 mm is picked up by crane on the mounting ring and is used to change the traction batteries of a Linde E80 forklift truck.
The mounting ring for the crane hook has two positions for the loaded and empty state. The loading fork is pushed into the battery pallet by crane. The battery and pallet can then be lifted and removed from the truck chassis. In addition, the distance between the forks can be adjusted using an FEM 3 profile to enable off-center battery pick-up. The effective height of the loading fork can also be adjusted manually.
