These SCHURZ lifting tools were manufactured for our customer who works with technical textiles. The SCHURZ roller lifters are picked up by an overhead crane.
Tarpaulin rolls are handled at our customer’s company. To avoid damaging the goods during clamping, the SCHURZ hoists were equipped with rotating plastic rollers on the load arms. These plastic rollers ensure gentle handling of the tarpaulin rolls and the load arms can be moved more easily under the goods. The lever on the side of the SCHURZ lifting tools can be operated manually and ensures that the goods can be easily picked up and the pick-up arms can be securely locked to prevent unintentional opening. The goods are then manipulated as required using the overhead crane. At the set-down location, the locking mechanism is released via an additional safety catch on the hand lever and the lifting gear is opened. An adjustment mechanism is used for optimum adaptation to different tarpaulin roll diameters.
