Our customer has had mechanical crane hoists for small paper rolls for years, which were originally coated with polyurethane. Now a special coating was required that was better suited to the use of paper rolls, as well as being gentler and safer. These test coatings for SCHURZ grab shells for crane hoists were therefore specially manufactured for our customer.
For this purpose, our customer supplied 6 gripper shell blanks, from which the old coating was removed and the new coating was glued or welded on. After the test phase at the company, the coating was also applied to the gripper shells of the existing paper roll clamps.
