The SCHURZ foam gripper for crane operation is used to manipulate foam blocks with a maximum weight of 1,000 kg and a length of 10,000 mm. The loads vary in width between 1,020 mm and 2,000 mm and in height between 400 mm and 1,000 mm.
The SCHURZ foam grab was mounted on the two cable winches of the existing crane and connected electrically. Clamping is therefore carried out electrically with automatic end position switch-off.
