The grippers are designed to hold PVC sockets of different dimensions. The sleeves weigh between 1 and 100 kg and have an internal diameter of between 160 mm and 630 mm. The wall thickness of the sleeves is 15 mm to 40 mm.
The two grabs are picked up by an overhead crane and have a fixed arm on the inside and a lockable arm on the outside. The arms of the grabs are coated to prevent damage to the loads. To pick up the sockets, the grabs are lowered sufficiently low above the socket to be lifted and closed using quick-release fasteners.
