This SCHURZ long goods spreader beam is suitable for a Kalmar electric front loader type ECF 80-9 with a basic load capacity of 8,000 kg at LSP 900 mm, in the roller fork adjustment / side shift system Kalmar version with fork dimensions 180 x 60 – 1800 mm (rollers directly on the forks).
The SCHURZ long goods spreader beam is used by a renowned Austrian manufacturer of wooden panels, which is why the loads are wooden panels with dimensions of 5,000 x 1,800 mm and a maximum weight of up to 4,000 kg. These boards need to be transported safely and without damage.
In this case, the special feature of the SCHURZ spreader beam is its mounting. This special SCHURZ long goods spreader beam has been designed so that it is picked up by means of the fork back at the top (weld-on flange with rollers) on the forks of the forklift and then secured for mechanical end locking via manual operation. The forklift forks are moved under the pick-up points of the SCHURZ lifting beam. The forklift forks are then lifted until the forks’ roller plates are in contact with the support points of the spreader beam. The SCHURZ long goods spreader beam can now be secured and put into operation.
In addition, the SCHURZ long material spreader beam is supported centrally on the fork carriage (between the forklift forks) of the Kalmar forklift truck by means of roller guides (like the Kalmar forklift forks). In this way, the SCHURZ long goods cross beam is moved with the basic fork tines of the forklift truck during the “side shift” function.
The load must be evenly distributed on all four forks.
