This SCHURZ transport hook was developed for one of our customers, who is active in the waste management sector, to fit both a Jungheinrich DFG550S with Kaup side shift with a basic load capacity of 4,500 kg at
LSP 600 mm, as well as a Jungheinrich DFG550S with Kaup fork positioner and a basic load capacity of 4,220 kg at LSP 600 mm.
The loads are different, simple and empty roller containers without fittings or attachments. The suspension options are located at different heights on the container bracket.
The task of Fa. ING. M. SCHURZ was to manufacture a special SCHURZ transport hook that can be picked up by the forks of both Jungheinrich forklift trucks in operation. The hook height was precisely and specially adapted to the different forklift lifting heights, the container types and the existing door heights.
The SCHURZ transport hook is attached via the forks of the respective forklift truck. To prevent slipping, the SCHURZ transport hook is secured by means of a safety chain. Now it is possible to maneuver the respective containers safely and efficiently in the customer’s company with one of the two Jungheinrich forklifts.
