This SCHURZ slip coupling is suitable for a Kalmar forklift type DCG 160-12. In this case, the SCHURZ slip coupling is attached using the original hitch.
The scope of delivery includes a steel connecting rope with a length of 8 m and a loop on both ends. The steel cable is attached to one end of the SCHURZ slip coupling (locking pin) and the other end is attached to the wagon so that it can be towed on level tracks. It is not possible to brake the rolling wagons.
The SCHURZ slip coupling is equipped with a safety device that disconnects the connecting cable from the forklift in the following situation: if the wagon overtakes the forklift during towing, this ensures that the towing vehicle does not tip over. This protects the driver and towing vehicle!
