One of our long-standing customers commissioned the company ING. M. SCHURZ with the design of a SCHRUZ support mandrel in the version for a Linde front loader with a basic load capacity of 7,000 kg at LSP 600 mm.
In this particular case, the SCHURZ mandrel is used to transfer or remove wire reels to and from a stationary spooling device. These wire reels have a length of 2,400 mm and a maximum weight of 2,700 kg.
In order to be able to load the stationary spooling machine with the wire reels or to remove them from the machine, it was necessary to weld a flat profile onto the mandrel tip of the mandrel in order to be able to operate the opening of the stationary machine.
