Our customer already knew from experience that the truck’s standard lift mast was not robust enough for its specific operational requirements. The truck manufacturer therefore supplied the desired Linde truck, with a basic load capacity of 6,000 kg at LSP 600 mm, without a lift mast.
The SCHURZ team then developed and manufactured a customized, more robust lift mast. Both the mast profiles and the mast rollers were designed to be particularly solid in order to withstand the high loads.
Despite the higher dead weight of the lift mast, the residual load capacity of the truck remains unaffected thanks to the special design from SCHURZ.
As the customer manipulates coarse material, there was a risk that falling parts could damage the mast rollers or the rollers of the carrier plate. To prevent this, protective plates were integrated between the mast segments to reliably protect the rollers from damage.
