Our SCHURZ special forks were specially developed for a customer who owns a Hyster forklift truck with a load capacity of up to 2,000 kg and a load center of 600 mm.
SCHURZ special forks are designed to safely load tool trolleys and molds weighing up to 1,700 kg into an autoclave. As these loads are picked up at the fork tip, the SCHURZ special forks were designed with an extended load center of gravity of around 800 mm. In addition, the forklift truck must also be able to handle Euro pallets, which requires a special fork design.
As an individual special solution, the forks were manufactured in a U-profile design and can be locked in width to allow flexible adjustment to the vehicle’s FEM fork carriage. The forks are specially adapted to the entry channel of Euro pallets and have a maximum height of 90 mm and a width of 200 mm per fork.
For additional stability, a reinforcing bar has been welded to the fork bend, which further increases the load capacity and safety. With a length of 1,150 mm, SCHURZ special forks not only offer maximum stability, but also the necessary flexibility for the safe transportation of pallets.
