This SCHURZ crane jib with individual front element was manufactured for one of our customers who is active in the packaging industry. The SCHURZ crane jib is suitable for a Toyota forklift type FDF 30 with a basic load capacity of 3,000 kg at LSP 500 mm.
Our customer had the following problem: machine parts had to be removed from the system when servicing one of its large systems. Previously, this required several people working at a height of several meters, who had little support on the system to be able to remove certain subcomponents without collision. Servicing this system was therefore associated with enormous safety risks.
With the SCHURZ machine parts manipulator, it is now possible to safely lift the replacement components out of the large system. The special cranked front element has been adapted to the special drive-in situation of customer systems. The special shape now allows the components to be serviced to be lifted out of the production machine without damage.
The SCHURZ inspection aid is equipped with drive-in shoes that are closed all round and at the front. It is picked up via the forks of the existing forklift truck. The SCHURZ crane jib with individual front element is then secured with our special SCHURZ safety system to prevent the SCHURZ crane jib from slipping or becoming trapped during use. This ensures additional safety for the employees.
