Advantages
Specially developed guide system ensures torsional rigidity with low stem dimensions or dead weight and optimum force distribution.
Specially developed initial lift of the lower forks for efficient and cost-saving bale handling
Continuous plastic rails protect profiles, increase sliding properties and have a noise-insulating effect. Maintenance costs are reduced.
Integrated sideshift means no loss of load-bearing capacity and large accessible shifting paths.
SCHURZ, your Austrian partner and manufacturer, guarantees rapid support and spare parts service in the event of questions, problems, service and damage.
Our customer requires a bale clamp to clamp and manipulate 2 – 3 cellulose bales next to each other. However, instead of the conventional clamp arms, the bales are to be clamped with 4 fork tine surfaces and lifted onto a conveyor belt. As the bales can only be processed individually, it is necessary to create a free space between the bales so that the sensors of the conveyor system can detect individual bales. The additional SCHURZ initial lift was developed to create this space.
Due to the separate hydraulic opening of the lower forks, the bales also open like a fan at the bottom. When the bales are set down, there is a gap between the bales when the clamp (upper forks) is finally opened.
The SCHURZ special cellulose bale clamp fork is suitable for a Still (or other product) stacker type R 50/16(20) with a basic load capacity of 1,600 kg (2,000 kg) with LSP 500 mm suspension FEM 2B.
