This SCHURZ slip coupling is suitable for a Komatsu WA 250 wheel loader. In this case, the SCHURZ wagon towing device is attached using the original hitch.
This special SCHURZ slip coupling has been designed so that it can be mounted without tools on the trailer coupling at the rear using the existing through-bolt. The two adjustment screws on the base plate allow optimum adjustment to the curvature of the rear weight of the wheel loader.
The scope of delivery also includes a steel connecting rope with a length of 8 m and a loop on both sides. When not in use, the rope can be wound up on the pin for transportation. Otherwise, the steel cable is attached to one end of the SCHURZ slip coupling (swivel pin) and the other end to the wagon by means of a loop.
The travel path of the wheel loader must be parallel to the railroad track and level in the direction of travel in order to be able to pull the wagon unit safely.
If the wagon overtakes the wheel loader, the cable is automatically disconnected from the slip coupling from a lateral position of 40° to the left and right due to the swivel mechanism with release of the connecting cable.
The pin is made of hardened special steel. The towing capacity is adapted to the respective towing vehicle.
