Our customer uses a Manitou forklift with a load capacity of 5,500 kg at an LSP of 500 mm and requires a SCHURZ slip coupling for the safe and efficient transportation of wagons. This is supplied with a specially developed screw-on plate and is designed for a reliable connection between the forklift and the wagon. The approx. 8 meter long connecting rope with loops on both sides is securely hooked into the SCHURZ slip coupling and onto the wagon so that wagons can be easily towed. The SCHURZ slip coupling is firmly connected to the forklift for a positive and secure connection.
A special safety feature of our SCHURZ slip coupling is the built-in release device, which automatically disconnects the connecting cable in the event of an unforeseen overtaking of the wagons during the towing process. This prevents dangerous tipping of the towing vehicle and effectively protects both the driver and the truck.
