Our German customer from the aluminum industry required self-locking SCHURZ fork extensions in partially closed design to fit on a Linde forklift type E 35 with a basic load capacity of 3,500 kg at LSP 500 mm, with a Stabau fork positioner type S11-ZV 30-S-01.
The SCHURZ fork extensions are picked up using forklift forks and secured with our special, self-locking SCHURZ lock without the forklift driver having to get off the forklift. The SCHURZ fork extensions must be positioned at a clear upward angle when they are picked up. This must be ensured by the customer using a support frame. Once the extension has been picked up, it is automatically secured when it is horizontal on the base fork. Conversely, the fork extension is released automatically when it is placed back in the storage rack.
