An industrial customer requires special films for the production of its solar collectors and photovoltaic panels, which are purchased on rolls. These rolls are stored in cantilever racks. In order to be able to lift the rolls safely and without damage out of the cantilever and place them in the production machine, the customer requires a special tool. For this purpose, the company ING. M. SCHURZ has developed a rotating platform.
The coated support tray enables the rolls to be held securely and without damage. The rotating platform can be mechanically rotated through 360° and locked in place to change the winding direction. The plastic coating with a thickness of 6 mm is designed as a screw-on interchangeable element.
The SCHURZ rotating platform is picked up by a Jungheinrich EJC 220 pedestrian stacker with a load capacity of 2,000 kg at LSP 1,000 mm and secured against slipping by a spring-loaded locking pin.
