The SCHURZ forging clamp is 360° endlessly rotatable with a braking device to prevent it from turning with the load. Manufactured from high-temperature-resistant special steel in foundry design with heat-resistant hoses and valve protection and with protective covers to prevent heat damage to the clamp body.
Integrated sideshift in the turning device for a forklift with a basic load capacity of 8,000 kg at LSP 1,100 mm. The forging clamp is used for loading and unloading various forging workpieces from annealing furnaces with a maximum temperature of 1,200° C. The floor level is reached with the clamp arms when the lifting mast is in the maximum lowered position and the mast is tilted forwards.
The special clamp arms made of high-temperature-resistant special steel are bolted to the clamp body. Forced synchronization control of the clamp arms via system deflection lever. Including an electrically controlled 4-step pressure light in the forklift cab for preselecting the desired clamping force. Basic setting possible according to customer requirements.
