The SCHURZ container manipulator was manufactured to fit a STILL RX70/70 forklift truck with a basic load capacity of 7,000 kg at 600 mm LSP, as well as a Lugli 50 CE forklift truck with a basic load capacity of 5,000 kg at 600 mm.
The loads are roll containers with a bracket on the front. The roll containers are also pulled onto a truck using this bracket. Sometimes, however, it is also necessary to move these containers within the company using a forklift truck and the telescopic SCHURZ container manipulator is used for this purpose.
The special feature of the SCHURZ container manipulator is its individuality. This model of the SCHURZ container manipulator has a rotatable pick-up in order to be able to maneuver the containers optimally even in the tightest of spaces. In this particular case, the support arm with the holder can also be extended in order to achieve different projections of the holder. This enables safe and torsion-free maneuvering of the roll containers, retracted for heavy containers or extended for smaller curve radii to ensure optimum work efficiency.
The telescopic SCHURZ container manipulator is picked up by means of a forklift support plate and secured using screw jaws. The extendable support arm is locked manually using bolts.
