Container manipulators are used to manipulate the roll containers in operation easily and safely using a forklift truck. This time, we designed and manufactured a suitable SCHURZ container manipulator for a Yale GDP 50 VX forklift truck with a basic load capacity of 5,000 kg at LSP 600 mm for one of our customers.
The SCHURZ container manipulator is mounted via the FEM 4 carrier plate of the forklift truck. Slipping is prevented by means of a locking lug and screw-on jaws.
This model also has a fold-out stand for safe storage of the SCHURZ container manipulator. The rotatable container holder has been specially designed for the existing shaft diameter of the containers and thus ensures safe and low-wear maneuvering. The pick-up distance has been adapted to the desired steering angle.
