The SCHURZ paper roll unwinding mandrel was designed to hold various paper rolls with different core diameters. The paper rolls are unwound from the mandrel at a pit. For this purpose, the entire mandrel is mounted on special ball bearings for easy rotation.
The unwinding mandrel is mounted using the FEM 2A support plate. There are four movable double cones on the mandrel, which make it easy to accommodate different castors. The cones can be locked in place using Allen screws. There is a conical counterpart at the end of the mandrel to secure the castors.
