A well-known manufacturer of large plastic pipes requires fork positioners with the largest possible adjustment range for internal transportation due to the long pipe lengths. Using SCHURZ special fork positioners, the customer was able to achieve the following advantages:
- Optimized visibility conditions thanks to tine adjustment due to special design
- Forks bolted from the rear enable quick replacement in the event of damage and wear
- Rounding of all contact edges with the pipes prevents damage or pressure points on the pipes.
- A separately adjustable pressure reducing valve prevents damage to the attachment due to clamping and spreading forces.
The inside of the forks of the 5 t device have been milled to ensure that existing loads can be picked up without reducing the basic load-bearing capacity of the forks.
A 3 t SCHURZ fork positioner overlapping with separate side shift was mounted on a Still stacker type RX 60-35, a 5 t SCHURZ fork positioner on a Still stacker type RX60-50.
