The SCHURZ unloading adapter for pallet cages, suitable for a rotating clamp fork on a Linde E 20 PH-02 with a basic load capacity of 2,000 kg at LSP 500 mm, was specially manufactured for our customer.
The loads are Euro mesh boxes with a maximum weight of 1,300 kg. The design of the boxes is always the same, the heights vary from 640 mm to 1,000 mm. These Euro grid boxes cannot be safely emptied with a standard rotating device or a rotating clamping fork!
The SCHURZ unloading adapter was manufactured for the customer to meet this requirement. The respective pallet cage is placed in the SCHURZ adapter with the forklift truck and secured on both sides using safety plates. The securing plates can be mechanically adjusted depending on the height of the pallet cage.
The SCHURZ adapter platform is picked up via the fork entry shoes with the forks of the rotating clamp fork and automatically secured against slipping by moving the fork adjuster together.
The complete unit (mesh box with SCHURZ emptying adapter) can then be safely lifted, transported and emptied by turning it sideways.
