The comprehensive SCHURZ conversion of a Linde H50 forklift truck with a basic load capacity of 5,000 kg at LSP 600 mm is used to manipulate cambered metal parts. Due to the crowning, increased spreading forces occur, which put too much strain on the standard carrier plate and quickly lead to increased jaw play on the forks. For this reason, the forklift carrier plate has been doubled and fitted with special forks of a higher quality (upset forged, triple tempered, fork bend hand-ground, test grain etc.) as well as wide jaws and ground recesses.
In addition, the forward tilt of the mast has been greatly increased so that the metal parts can slide off the fork without any effort. A safety circuit was also integrated, which only allows the increased mast tilt up to a lifting height of 1.5 m. A stability test and all necessary documentation were included.
