Our customer owns a Toyota – BT 4 – reach truck type FRE 270 with a basic load capacity of 2,700 kg at LSP 600 mm. The vehicle is equipped with a hydraulic fork positioner with side shift and associated hydraulic mast transfers. The work tasks at the customer’s company required the purchase of a forklift truck with triplex lift mast.
The problem that arose for our customer was that the passageway in the new hall was too low. In this case, the company ING. M. SCHURZ was used and carried out a complete mast shortening to the customer’s desired height. During this complex SCHURZ conversion of the lift mast, care had to be taken to achieve the maximum possible new overall lift height with the new overall height and to adapt the free lift to the new overall height.
