Our customer is currently transporting four pallets on top of each other at the same time with the vehicles. Two pallets are picked up with the forks, two below with the initial lift. The top two pallets are therefore at great risk of tipping to the side and to the rear during the journey to the dispatch warehouse. It is therefore necessary to provide anti-tip protection.
This risk of tipping is to be prevented with a side and rear frame construction that serves as a load guard, thus providing the employee operating the vehicle with a high level of safety. In addition, the loads are protected from damage. The distance between the side protective frames must be adjustable. Various plastic containers are transported, which are stacked on pallets. These ready-to-ship goods are not sensitive to pressure at the sides, so in this case no damping needs to be taken into account in the event of the pallet tipping.
The Fa. ING. M. SCHURZ offers an individual solution with the three-way adjustable SCHURZ load holder. The width of two sides of the load guard can be adjusted three times to provide optimum load securing. The rear load holder is mounted on the carrier plate of the vehicle. All load holders consist of a frame construction. The side load guards are slanted at the front to make it easier to approach. With the specially designed SCHURZ load securing device, the transportation of different loads is now guaranteed and the risk of tipping on three sides is almost eliminated.
