This individual SCHURZ load basket was manufactured for one of our long-standing customers to fit on a front forklift with a basic load capacity of 3,500 kg at LSP 500 mm. It is used in connection with the greening of flat roofs.
The SCHURZ lifting device is equipped with a ramp so that it can be loaded. A latching device (latch lock) is used to easily lower the ramp to the ground. Once the internal safety door has been opened, two wheelie bins, each loaded with a maximum of 250 kg of soil, can be positioned. The door is then closed again and the ramp folded up. The SCHURZ load basket can now be lifted to the desired roof level using the forklift, the ramp can be folded out as a bridge between the basket and the roof and the lifting platform can be unloaded.
A tension spring is integrated in the load basket to make it easier for the operator to open/close the ramp. The ramp can be removed and the transport basket can also be used for other work thanks to the additional door.
The SCHURZ lifting platform is approved exclusively for material transport.
