Bogies for streetcars have to be unloaded and manipulated. A fixed lifting beam was previously used for this purpose. Due to the now different types of bogies, it was no longer possible to pick them up safely and without swaying using the fixed lifting beam. Therefore, the company ING. M. SCHURZ was commissioned to design and manufacture new lifting equipment that allows flexible lifting. The new lifting device consists of two individual fork attachment elements, which are picked up individually using the forks of the existing Linde H 160 forklift truck with hydraulic fork adjustment and a basic load capacity of 16,000 kg at LSP 900 mm and secured with our special quick-release fastener. The bogies can now be hooked onto the chain slings attached to the drive-in shoes. The bogies for rail vehicles have a maximum weight of 8,000 kg.
The attachment points for the chain slings are located on the underside of the attachable lifting device. The front chain slings are fixed. The rear chain slings can be adjusted manually in various locking positions.
