This SCHURZ lifting pin in a special design was newly manufactured for our customer. The mounting hook of the existing SCHURZ container device was already heavily worn due to frequent use. Originally, the lifting pin was welded to the base frame. Our customer wanted a replaceable hook so that he could easily replace it himself when it was worn.
The Fa. ING. M. SCHURZ came up with a solution by separating the old, worn hook from the base frame and drilling holes in the base frame to allow the new mounting hook to be replaced. This means that our customer can now continue to use the intact base frame as an adapter for the SCHURZ locating pin or hook, while the pins can be replaced quickly and cost-effectively when worn.
The SCHURZ pick-up pin unit is bolted to the holes in the base frame and can now be picked up as a complete unit or as a SCHURZ transport hook using the interchangeable pick-up jaws FEM3 and FEM4 with the respective forklift.
With this SCHURZ transport hook, the roll-off containers can now be lifted from the ground and pulled.
