This SCHURZ conversion to hydraulic mast tilt was carried out specifically at the customer’s request. The basic vehicle used was a Linde L 06 AC tiller truck with a basic load capacity of 600 kg at LSP 600 mm.
The high lift pallet truck is used to manipulate cardboard boxes or boxes that can be picked up directly from the floor without pallets. This method proves to be effective and practical when it comes to space-saving loading of loads on truck beds or in containers. The special roller forks enable this type of load handling.
What has now been done by Fa. ING. M. SCHURZ converted? The basic vehicle only had a rigid lift mast, which made it difficult to manipulate the cardboard boxes. The customer wanted the mast to be equipped with a mast tilt to the rear (load stack in the direction of the drawbar) in order to be able to compensate for ramp inclinations or level differences.
It must be possible to safely transport loads with high headroom.
This was made possible by the SCHURZ conversion to hydraulic mast tilt.
Furthermore, all operating elements and hydraulic functions were to be located directly on the drawbar. To achieve this, the vehicle hydraulics were converted and the drawbar adapted accordingly.
