Advantages
Specially developed guide system ensures torsional rigidity with low stem dimensions or dead weight and optimum force distribution
Best overview of all devices available on the market
Continuous plastic rails protect profiles, increase sliding properties and have a noise-insulating effect - maintenance costs are reduced
Special catches prevent the plastic rails from getting lost and ensure quick, cost-effective replacement
Additional reinforcements for optimum force transmission into the guide profiles
Optimally integrated valve block prevents damage to the valve and optimizes visibility over the device
Maximum pressure adjustable via handwheel and visible via pressure gauge
Integrated sideshift means no loss of load-bearing capacity and large accessible shifting paths
Professional mandatory risk analysis in accordance with EN ISO 12100
CE-compliant; including type plate and all documents
SCHURZ, your Austrian partner and manufacturer, guarantees rapid support and spare parts service in the event of questions, problems, service and damage.
For our long-standing customer in the concrete industry, the company ING. M. SCHURZ manufactured this SCHURZ clamp fork with integrated sideshift and special forks in the desired design for a Linde forklift truck type H20 with a basic load capacity of 2,000 kg at LSP 500 mm.
Various pallets are handled on the company premises on a daily basis. As these pallets have different widths, an overlapping SCHURZ clamping fork was used. This enables an opening range of 490 – 1,650 mm.
In addition, various concrete casting molds with a maximum weight of 1,200 kg must also be lifted into and out of the production machines and moved within the plant.
The casting molds have different shapes and therefore cannot be clamped positively with the screw-on forks. For this reason, a special additional support bar has been milled into the forks so that the attachment can be used as a special concrete element clamp. This support bar is 15 mm thick and has a horizontal pendulum bearing in the middle so that it can adapt to the shape of the casting molds. In order to maintain this function for as long as possible, the forks were each provided with two cleaning grooves on the outside.
In order not to damage the molds and other products to be manipulated during clamping, the company ING. M. SCHURZ installed a pressure relief valve and set it to the desired maximum pressures.
The load protection grid was fitted flush with the back of the forks on special request. This ensures positive-locking transport on the lift mast side for heavier loads.
