Our customer in the construction industry owns a Jungheinrich 8 t forklift truck and had the company ING. M. SCHURZ increased the fork opening range by a total of 200 mm. This modification was necessary due to the oversized distance between the fork entry shoes on construction containers. Normally, these construction containers are handled by crane, but our customer wanted to carry out this transport with his forklift.
In order to save customers the investment of a new tine adjustment system, the company was able to offer a new tine adjustment system. ING. M. SCHURZ can professionally convert the existing attachment.
The complete attachment was delivered to the Premstätten plant for this purpose. The conversion involved widening the existing guide profiles and the fork suspension. In addition, the guide rollers were modified to ensure that the forks are guided without tilting. Furthermore, the old worn fork tines were cut off and new SCHURZ special fork tines were bolted on. This ensures simple and cost-effective fork replacement in the event of renewed wear.
