The SCHURZ drum lifter is a suitable attachment for various forklifts used by our customers. The SCHURZ drum lifter is picked up and locked with the existing forks of the respective forklift truck. The device is secured against unintentional slipping by means of a chain.
The design of the SCHURZ drum gripper is particularly robust in order to ensure safe pick-up and the associated transportation, purely mechanically, without hydraulics. The drums can be conveniently picked up directly from the driver’s seat of the forklift truck.
It is possible to manually adjust the depth of the SCHURZ drum gripper stop. This ensures that the drum is optimally supported at the bottom and can therefore be transported safely. If the drums are delivered at different distances from each other, the SCHURZ drum gripper offers the special feature of infinitely variable fine positioning of the gripper arms in relation to each other. This eliminates the need to manually reposition the drums, which can weigh up to 800 kg.
The gripping head for picking up the drums at the top edge has been specially optimized for the Schütz brand drums used in the company. Furthermore, the stop of the SCHURZ drum gripper is fitted with a rubber coating to prevent any damage to the drums. Of course, this drum lifting device is also available for one drum.
