One of our customers from the timber industry owns a Kalmar electric forklift truck with a basic load capacity of 8 tons and a hydraulic fork positioner. Forks measuring 250 x 70 – 2,400 mm are suspended on the fork positioner using a Terminal West suspension system.
The upper mounting jaws were worn to the maximum. To avoid having to buy new forks, the upper mounting jaws were replaced. Thanks to the specially trained and certified welders from the company. ING. M. SCHURZ was able to carry out this work on the forks with a certificate.
The existing upper mounting jaws were removed from the fork back, new mounting jaws were manufactured and then professionally welded into the fork back.
