Our customer from the project construction sector in transportation and energy, as well as social and urban infrastructure, required a SCHURZ particle filter type PFE 140 with replaceable one-way filter insert. The SCHURZ particle filter was mounted on a Merlo telescopic handler with an engine output of 105 kW at 2,300 rpm and a cubic capacity of 3,600 cc.
Depending on the condition of the motor and the type of use, this device can be expected to run for a maximum of approx. 400 hours. After this, the filter insert must be replaced.
The complete system includes an electrical dynamic pressure control with pressure switch and external flashing light, as it is usually not possible to run cables into the rotating cab at a later date. The externally mounted flashing light indicates a full filter to the driver. The installation was carried out by our specialist fitters.
