Process-safe big bag emptying with clamp and cutting device
Challenging big bag processes can be designed economically and reliably using adapted forklift technology and sophisticated attachments. A specially developed clamp with clamping device and a robust cutting device enable the safe and controlled emptying of up to 100 big bags per day – by just one operator.
The bags of paint and PU dust are picked up with a wheel loader and placed on the cutting device permanently installed on the bunker. Stainless steel blades open the container of the big bag. An integrated clamping device prevents an uncontrolled fall into the bunker. The entire unit is matched to the quick coupler of the forklift truck or wheel loader – for easy attachment without additional effort.
Both the clamp (load capacity up to 1,500 kg) and the cutting unit (load capacity up to 2,000 kg) are designed for industrial use and meet the requirements of the ATEX directives. The design is CE-compliant and was implemented on the basis of a risk analysis in accordance with EN ISO 12100.
